MSI has apparently unveiled yet another AM4-based motherboard. This time round, it’s the A320M Grenade, which is made to cater for budget-oriented gamers. The company had also previously detailed its high-end and overclocking friendly X370 Gaming Pro motherboard.
For those who are unaware, AMD’s AM4-based motherboards that are equipped with the A320 chipset comes with no overclocking support. Folks who would like to harness more ‘power’ out of their Ryzen CPUs via overclocking should look to the B350 or X370 motherboards instead.
That aside, MSI’s A320M Grenade motherboard is still a viable option for gamers who are on a tight budget. Design-wise, the motherboard comes in an all black colour scheme, with a few LED-lit areas as well. It’s worth noting, however, that this motherboard is a micro-ATX motherboard, which means that it’s rather small.
Expansion slots include two DDR4 RAM slots, one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, and two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots. Other components of the A320M Grenade are four SATA 6Gbps ports, one 32Gbps M.2 slot, four USB 3.0 ports, and one Realtek RTL811H ethernet port. Audio is handled via Realtek ALC887 CODEC.
Unfortunately, MSI has not mentioned the date of availability and price of the A320M Grenade motherboard. That said, consumers can at least expect it to be priced within the reach of plenty of PC gamers.
