Just last week, Nvidia unleashed its most powerful graphics card yet: the Titan Xp. In many ways, it can be deemed as a direct replacement to the company’s older Pascal-based Titan X, and interestingly enough, Baidu user ‘Face7777777’ has managed to secure a unit of the rather costly graphics card, and has since posted images of the Titan Xp…naked.
One stand out feature of Nvidia’s new Titan Xp card is its GPU. Based on the image, we can clearly see that the graphics card is powered by a Pascal GP102-450 GPU, which is apparently the fastest GPU ever made by Nvidia. Another graphics card that uses the same GPU is Nvidia’s workstation-based Quadro P6000.
According to VideoCardz, the Nvidia Titan Xp also features an improved cooling solution as well. That said, the graphics card’s cooler shroud does look pretty similar to its predecessor. Amazingly, one of the images show that Face7777777 had apparently fitted the graphics card with an AIO cooler, which should help improve its overall performance.
Unfortunately, the arrival of the Titan Xp wasn’t positively accepted by several members of the PC gaming community; some even went on to accuse Nvidia of ripping consumers off by releasing an updated Titan card merely months after the initial launch of the original Pascal-based Titan X.
