Originally announced at CES 2017 earlier this year, Dell Malaysia today has officially launched its new XPS 13 2-in-1 laptop at its roadshow in Plaza Low Yat. Even though the laptop already available in the market since last month, this is the first time that the company has organized a roadshow to showcase it.
As you might already know, the Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 laptop is built with a 13.3-inch InfinityEdge Touch display which has a native resolution of 3200 x 1800 together with the support for Dell Active Pen. At the same time, customers have the option to equip their Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 with either Intel Core i5-7Y54 or the slightly more powerful Core i7-7Y75 processor.
Depending on their preferred specifications, customers are also able to obtain up to 512GB PCIe-based solid state drive and 16GB LPDDR3 RAM. The Malaysian variant of the laptop also comes standard with fingerprint reader that supports Windows Hello biometric security feature in Windows 10 together with backlit keyboard and 46Whr battery.
Meanwhile, Dell has also took the opportunity to showcase other laptops that have been refreshed with 7th generation Intel Core quad core processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series GPUs including the XPS 15 and Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming. Not to forget, the company’s pure-bred Alienware gaming laptops and desktop are there too even though all these products were readily available from Dell Malaysia’s online store since as early as January.
In terms of pricing, the new Dell XPS 13 2-in-1 and the refreshed XPS 15 laptop start at RM 6,699 while the refreshed Inspiron 7000 Gaming goes for RM 3,899 onwards. As for the Alienware laptops, they are available from RM 5,699 onwards depending on respective models and configurations while the Alienware Aurora gaming desktop starts at RM 6,999.
Consumers are able to get their hands on these new Dell products through its Malaysian online store or at the on-going Dell Consumer Tech Week roadshow in Plaza Low Yat if they prefer to physically check out these new machines themselves.
