MSI has unveiled the specifications of its GTX 1080 Ti Armor 11G OC and GTX 1080 Ti Aero 11G graphics cards. This comes just a few days after the company revealed key specifications of its top of the line GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X graphics card. Interestingly, both new graphics cards by MSI will be catered to budget-oriented PC gamers.
First up is the MSI GTX 1080 Ti 11G Armor OC. As mentioned before in our previous article, the graphics card will feature a minimalist design. Its cooler shroud comes in black and white, and it comprises of two cooling fans as well. According to folks at VideoCardz, the PCB of this graphics card is almost identical to the GTX 1080 Ti Gaming X.
When it comes to specifications, the GTX 1080 Ti 11G Armor OC comes with base and boost clock speeds of 1531MHz and 1645MHz respectively. It’s worth noting, however, that MSI also has a non-factory overclocked version of this graphics card, but its specifications are unknown at the time of writing.
Next is the GTX 1080 Ti 11G Aero graphics card. Unlike the GTX 1080 Ti 11G Armor OC, MSI’s GTX 1080 Ti 11G Aero comes with an even more simple design. That said, the cooler shroud of this graphics card does come with brighter colours. Besides that, the graphics card also features a blower style cooling fan.
Clock speeds of the GTX 1080 Ti 11G Aero is rated at 1480MHz (base) and 1582MHz (boost). Like its more powerful brother, MSI has also released a factory overclocked variant of this graphics card. As expected, the base and boost clock speeds of that version has been increased to 1506MHz and 1620MHz respectively.
Unfortunately, the prices and date of availability of the GTX 1080 Ti 11G Aero, GTX 1080 Ti 11G Armor OC and their alternative variants have not been announced yet.
