Barely two weeks after the initial teaser image was posted, Gigabyte has now released detailed images of its new GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Xtreme Edition graphics card. That said, aside from a few images, the company made no mention of the specifications of this graphics card, unfortunately.
As expected, the GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Xtreme Edition looks very, very similar to that of Gigabyte’s older Aorus GTX 1080 Xtreme Editon graphics card. Likewise, in true “Gigabyte fashion” the graphics card comes with an all black cooler shroud with a few hints of orange accents here and there. The Aorus logo is displayed boldly in the centre that’s further endowed with RGB lighting as well.
Cooling solutions for the GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Xtreme Edition include Gigabyte’s humongous triple-fan WindForce cooler. In addition, the graphics card is also equipped with a copper heatpipes and a backplate to further aid the card in cooling. It’s worth noting, however, that this graphics card will, of course, come with a custom PCB, so expect it to be slightly longer compared to Nvidia’s reference GTX 1080.
Connectivity-wise, Gigabyte’s GTX 1080 Ti Aorus Xtreme Edition is fitted with three HDMI ports; two DisplayPort ports; and and one DVI port. Sadly, price and date of availability of this graphics card was not mentioned, but sources do expect it to be made available sometime in mid-April.
