Xiaomi’s new Redmi Note 4 is officially available nationwide today, but the company has more good news to share. The highest-end variant of the Redmi Note 4, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, will be coming to Malaysia as well.
The Redmi Note 4 was announced for the China market in August 2016, before hitting the international markets with a new Snapdragon 625 processor in India in January this year. Three variants are available for the international market: 2GB RAM/32GB storage, 3GB RAM/32GB storage, and 4GB RAM/64GB storage.
For the Malaysian market, Xiaomi is initially offering the 3GB/32GB model in Gold and Black for RM799, available both online and in selected retail outlets. But due to global shortage in stock for the 4GB/64GB variant, it will be arriving in Malaysia at a slightly later date.
No confirmed date has been announced, nor a retail price – but Xiaomi is said to be working on bringing that Redmi Note 4 variant as soon as possible. In India, the 4GB/64GB variant retails for 12,999 Rupees (about RM885).
