Over the past few months, Meizu smartphones have been slowly released in Malaysia thanks to Dynamics Distribution. Now, it seems like the company is gearing up to launch Meizu’s latest flagship smartphone on our shores: the Meizu Pro 6 Plus.
As usual, we stumbled upon the Meizu Pro 6 Plus while going through SIRIM’s database. There, we found that the Pro 6 Plus was registered under Dynamics Distribution with the model number M686H.
Considering the fact that Dynamics has a pretty consistent release schedule when it comes to Meizu smartphones, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Pro 6 Plus will be officially launched here in the very near future. After all, the Meizu M5 was made available in Malaysia by Dynamics just last month.
In terms of specification, the Pro 6 Plus is a very capable smartphone. It features a 5.7-inch 1440p Super AMOLED display, Samsung’s Exynos 8890 processor – the very same one powering the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge – paired with 4GB of RAM, 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, a 3,400mAh battery, as well as 12MP rear and 5MP front-facing cameras.
At the time of this writing, it still remains to be seen just how much the Meizu Pro 6 Plus will go for in Malaysia, but it’s worth noting that Meizu smartphones are priced pretty competitively. For the sake of comparison, the Pro 6 Plus goes for 2,999 Chinese yuan (about RM1,930) and 3,299 yuan (approximately RM2,125) for the 64GB and 128GB variants respectively in China.
