Another day, another custom GTX 1080 Ti graphics card teaser. This time round, folks at Galax have decided to bestow its fans with a silhouette image of the company’s upcoming GTX 1080 Ti HOF graphics card. Galax joins the likes of Gigabyte, Asus, MSI, and Zotac – all of whom have unveiled their custom GTX 1080 Ti graphics cards earlier.
Judging by Galax’s teaser images, the new GTX 1080 Ti HOF looks somewhat similar to the company’s older GTX 1080 HOF graphics card. That said, there are some differences that can clearly be seen on the cooler shroud of the card.
Interestingly, Galax’s GTX 1080 Ti HOF comes with a much more ‘distinct’ design that features a new edgy-looking cooler shroud. In addition, the ‘crown’ of the graphics card is now further endowed with LEDs as well, because you know, LEDs are a must nowadays, right?
According to folks at VideoCard, the teaser image of the GTX 1080 Ti HOF indicates that it may be powered by two 8-pin power connectors. Besides that, it seems very likely that Galax’s upcoming graphics card may not come with a DVI port, which apparently has also been abandoned by Nvidia in its Founders Edition variant of the card.
Unfortunately, aside from the black and white image of Galax’s GTX 1080 Ti HOF, not much else is known about this graphics card. Despite this, we do expect the company to be revealing the specifications and retail price for its upcoming powerhouse graphics card in the weeks to come.
