As promised, Xiaomi today has officially announced the upcoming arrival of its Redmi Note 4 smartphone in Malaysia. With that, the company has also revealed the specifications of Malaysian variant for the phone as well as its pricing.
Interestingly, Xiaomi has choose to only release the mid-tier specifications of Redmi Note 4 from the Indian market into Malaysia. This means that it is powered by Snapdragon 625 processor and carries 3GB of RAM alongside 32GB of internal storage.
As for other parts of the phone which features aluminium body, it is equipped with a 5.5-inch full HD display that is covered by 2.5D curved glass. Additionally, it also features 13-megapixels PDAF rear camera, 5-megapixels front camera, fingerprint reader, and 4,100 mAh battery.
The new Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 is priced at RM 799 and will be available for sale through Xiaomi Malaysia’s Lazada store as well as local retailers from 16 March onwards although the pre-order will be opened on 10 March.
