With the recent launch of AMD Ryzen 7 CPUs, we are expecting manufacturers to roll out more AM4-based motherboard into Malaysia. One such company that will begin to release such motherboards into our market is ASRock who has confirmed that two of its X370 motheboards will available for local consumers starting from tomorrow onwards.
Leading the line-up is the Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming motherboard which is said to be the first X370 motherboard to support 5Gb/s LAN thank to its Aquantia network chip. Additionally, the motherboard also features 16 power phase and IR digital PWM controller to ensure its power stability.
At the same time, ASRock has also equipped X370 Professional Gaming motherboard with Hyper BCLK Engine II that apparently allows users to overclock their Ryzen processor further. Aside from its naming and association to professional gaming legend Fatal1ty, the motherboard’s black and red colorway as well as RGB lighting should be able to attract gamers from a mile away.
Aside from Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming above, consumers will also able to get their hands on X370 Taichi motherboards tomorrow as well. These motherboards will then be followed by Fatal1ty X370 Gaming K4 and X370 Killer SLI very soon.
For those who looking into more affordable solution, they should look forward to the B350-based Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4 and AB350 Pro4 that will be released in Malaysia very soon as well. As mentioned in our AM4 quick guide, Ryzen processors can be overclocked using motherboards with X370 or B350 chipsets although do note that overclocking result depends on many factors and varies from one motherboard to another.
Price-wise, ASRock Fatal1ty X370 Professional Gaming will be available for RM 1,289 while X370 Taichi, Gaming K4, and Killer SLI will go for RM 1,009, RM 739, and RM 709 respectively. As for AB350 Fatal1ty Gaming K4 and Pro4, they will be priced at RM 519 and RM 459 each.
