As teased earlier, the local on-demand video streaming service iflix earlier this week has officially announced that users are now able to enjoy contents within its service in HD resolution. At the same time, the company has also improved the sound quality for its service as well.
Not surprisingly, not all contents in iflix are available in HD – 720p for those who wondering – at the moment though but more titles will be roll out very soon in stages. Meanwhile, it is not hard to find which titles are available in HD as there is a HD logo on their title covers and descriptions.
Additionally, users are also able to find them by using iflix’s search function as shown above. Best of all, there will be no changes to users subscription fees despite the addition of HD resolution and improved sound quality.
In other words, iflix still maintain its subscription fee of RM 10 per month or RM 96 if you prefer to have the 1-year subscription instead. The service can also be obtained for free until the end of 2017 for UniFi and select Streamyx users.
