The existence of a Huawei P10 Lite may have been leaked by a Dutch retailer. A listing for the unannounced device appeared on Cool Blue’s website, and hasn’t been taken down yet.
As the name implies, the P10 Lite looks to be a more budget friendly version of the newly announced P10. The device packs a 5.2-inch FHD IPS display. Although we wonder if that’s a typo, as it ends up being slightly larger than the P10 itself.
Powering it is a HiSilicon Kirin 655 processor. It’s an understandable step down from the P10 and P10 Plus, considering that this is the ‘lite’ version of the P10. This is accompanied by 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There’s also microSD expansion support for cards with capacities up to 256GB.
It doesn’t look like the P10 Lite has a dual camera setup, and instead only relies on a single 12MP sensor on the back for pictures. We’re not sure if this is the same 12MP sensor from the P10, and the site certainly doesn’t provide enough information to make any guesses.
Battery capacity is a conservative 3000mAh. It’s quite a bit smaller than the its larger cousins, but then again it also has less powerful internals.
Huawei has also included the fingerprint sensor on the P10 Lite, but that isn’t surprising at this point. Many mid-range smartphones are picking up fingerprint sensors.
There’s no availability date listed, which isn’t surprising since the phone is still unannounced. That said, the price is listed at €349 (about RM1600); roughly half as much as the P10.
