Say “goodbye” to your productivity for the day. The ever-popular Snake game is now available on Facebook Messenger. The release of the game is in conjunction with the launch of the 2017 Nokia 3310 feature phone that was announced just hours ago.
Snake is available on Facebook Messenger’s instant game. Just open a conversation with a friend you’d like to challenge, and tap on the game controller below. After that, select Snake to get started. Snake on Facebook Messenger has an old-school interface, complete a green tint in the background.
Like the original Snake, all you need to do is move the snake around to eat the apples and bugs; the more you eat, the longer the snake grows. There are six levels in total, each with a different layout and snake skin. Friends can challenge each other to see who can score the highest score.
Facebook launched Instant Games on Messenger in November last year. It allows users to challenge their friend or a group of friends to many popular games. Sadly though, at the time of writing, it looks like the feature is not available for us just yet.
Just in case you missed it, HMD Global finally launched a new Nokia 3310 earlier today. Announced at its MWC 2017 event, the new Nokia 3310 looks similar to the original 3310, but with upgraded specs and design. The new 3310 runs on Series 30+ operating system. It is a 2G phone that features a 2.4” QVGA display at the front with a polarised layer for increased sunlight readability. Other specs include 16GB expandable memory (supports microSD cards of up to 32GB), 2MP rear camera with LED flash, 1200mAh removable battery, and retails at EUR49 (about RM230).
