A portion of the specification sheet for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8+ has been leaked. It doesn’t quite show off all the features of Samsung’s next flagship device, but it does indicate that the phone is going to be huge.
The leaked image claims that the Galaxy S8+ will have a massive 6.2-inch display (or 6.1-inches if you count the rounded corners). For reference, the Galaxy S7 happens to have a comparatively svelte 5.1-inch display. It’s currently unknown where the regular Galaxy S8 will fall between these two sizes.

This larger size encroaches in Galaxy Note territory, although there is precedent for this having happened before. That being said, Samsung has had a relatively clear delineation between the S and Note sizes for the past couple of cycles. Perhaps the Galaxy S8+ is being used to fill the niche left by the doomed Note 7.
Aside from the display, the Galaxy S8+ will apparently have 64GB of internal storage, 4GB RAM, 12MP dual pixel rear camera, 8MP front camera, and an iris scanner. The leak also claims that it will ship with earphones tuned by AKG.
We’re inclined to believe this information, since it comes from evleaks. Which now begs the question of what Samsung is up to with the size of the Galaxy S8+.
