The Samsung Galaxy S8 is going to be something special when it releases. At least that is what the latest rumour will have us believe. The pictures, which appeared on Twitter, show a device that combines a bezel-less front with a curved display. As a result, the front of the purported Galaxy S8 is pretty much all screen.
As a whole, the Galaxy S8 looks very much like a Samsung device. It retains the same design language, although the new display has forced the fingerprint scanner off the front. Unfortunately, the leak doesn’t seem to show anything out of the ordinary.

On the other hand, AndroidPolice has also managed to get their hands on an alleged system dump of the upcoming Galaxy Tab S3. The document confirms an earlier leak about the placement of the fingerprint scanner on the back of the Galaxy S8.
It appears that Samsung is fully comfortable with putting the scanner right next to the camera. While the location gives the back a more pleasing symmetrical look, it also raises the question of whether people are more likely to end up swiping on the camera lens instead.
Another section of the system dump also reveals a graphic of Samsung’s DeX. This is Samsung’s answer to Microsoft’s Continuum, which turns smartphones into fully functional computers. Details are still extremely vague, but we don’t expect the same extensive functions that Continuum has.
