Huawei is expected to unveil its P10 series on the 26th of February, and days before the launch, we may already have our first real look at the P10 and P10 Plus. Believed to be the most well-equipped device in the new P10 series, the P10 Plus appears to be sporting a rather…familiar design.
Much like the Huawei Mate 9 Pro and its Porsche Design variant, leaked renders show that the P10 Plus is rocking a dual-curved display too. However, unlike the former two, the P10 Plus’ curved display isn’t quite as subtle. In fact, the display – and even the design – of the P10 Plus looks akin to the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge’s.
Similarity aside, these leaked images also show that the P10 Plus has a rear fingerprint sensor like its predecessor. This isn’t quite the same as the P10 Plus pictured in a previous leak, which has a fingerprint-sensor on the front of the device instead. Then again, this latest batch of leaked images do look more convincing.
Other than the P10 Plus, Evan Blass – also known as evleaks – also got his hands on a promotional image for the Huawei P10. In comparison to the P10 Plus, the smaller device in the series has a conventional flat display and a front fingerprint sensor. We have to say: the blue P10 looks particularly sleek too.
Even though these are merely leaked information, they do look very convincing; Blass has proven himself to be very reliable with his sources as well. Regardless, we’ll find out for ourselves come 26 February 2017, where Huawei will officially introduce the P10 series.
