After posting numerous teasers of the Redmi Note 4X last week, Xiaomi has unveiled the retail prices of the new device. As is always the case with the Chinese company, the 4X is priced very competitively; even the Hatsune Miku edition carries an affordable price tag.
In comparison to its predecessor, the Redmi Note 4X…doesn’t differ that much in terms of specifications. In fact, the 4X essentially has the same specifications as the new Redmi Note 4 unveiled in India last month. These include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 32GB of internal storage, a large 4,100mAh battery, as well as 13MP rear and 5MP front-facing cameras.
The difference, however, comes down to the choice of colours. The Redmi Note 4X is available in five distinct colours: black, pink, green, gold, and grey. Of course, there’s also the Redmi Note 4X Hatsune Miku Special Edition, which comes with a unique code on the back of the device – along with Hatsune Miku’s signature – as well as a limited edition Mi Power Bank and casing based on the character.
As usual, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X is only available in China at the time of this writing. The standard variant retails at 999 Chinese yuan (about RM645), while the Hatsune Miku edition will go for only 1,299 yuan (roughly RM840).
