Honor Malaysia has announced the arrival of its latest smartphone, the honor 6X in the local market. The mid-range smartphone with a dual-lens camera setup is now available for pre-order in Lazada and DirectD for RM1,199.
Originally announced just last month at CES 2017, the honor 6X is a capable mid-range performer, packing a new Kirin 655 octa core processor built on a 16nm process. Depending on the model, the honor 6X has 3 or 4GB of RAM, as well as 32GB or 64GB of storage.
The honor 6X also features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a microSD card slot that supports up to 256GB cards, a 3,430mAh battery that honor claims is capable of two days of usage, and of course, a 12MP dual-lens rear camera with an 8MP front facing camera.
Like other honor devices, the honor 6X comes with the company’s comprehensive warranty coverage, including a 6-month one-to-one replacement for “non human-induced” quality issues.
For the Malaysian market, both the 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB variants will be available. The lower end 3GB/32GB variant is now available for pre-order at RM1,199 and officially in stores from 17 February, while the 4GB/64GB model will be available from 6 March at RM1,399.
