The good news just keeps on coming. This time round, the folks at HWBattle have apparently managed to get their hands on a leaked image/render of AMD’s newest stock CPU coolers. These coolers are, of course, made to be paired with the company’s upcoming Ryzen processor line.
Interestingly, AMD won’t be releasing just one stock CPU cooler for its Ryzen processors; instead, it looks like the company actually has three. Unfortunately, aside from the leaked image by HWBattle, the actual names of the CPU coolers was not mentioned. That said, it’s safe to say that just by looking at them, one can already tell that they look pretty good.
The first new stock CPU cooler by AMD is one that has a TDP rating of 65W. Unlike most CPU coolers in the market, AMD has gone with a circular design for its upcoming cooler – just like Intel’s, except this one seems to be more pleasing to the eye (subjective). Similarly, the leaked image also shows a 95W TDP version of the CPU cooler and it features the same design as its younger brother, albeit slightly taller it seems.
AMD’s ‘high performance’ cooler, which, again, has no name, comes with a rather familiar design. Judging from the leaked image, it seems that the cooler looks very similar to the AMD Wraith stock CPU cooler that was released early last year. That said, the image does mention, in brackets, that this cooler is “like a Wraith” so one should at least expect it to perform, well… like the Wraith, or better.
Those aside, it’ll be interesting to see if AMD will indeed bundle its Ryzen processors with these CPU coolers. We think that the company will most likely ship the 65W and 95W TDP with its upcoming CPUs, while the high performance cooler may be sold separately.
