Microsoft has teased the new look coming to Windows 10 in a future update. This comes as part of the Project Neon new design language that the company has been working on, and it looks like some big changes are coming.
This new design introduces more than just a new look to applications, as it seems to include improved transitions and animations to the OS. This will not only apply to Window 10, but all Universal Windows Apps.
Project Neon is not exactly unknown. Microsoft has spoken about it before, although details have been light. More information is expected to be shared at the Build conference later this year, and all we’re getting at this point is a screenshot of the look of the new Groove app.
Interestingly, while apps are getting more colourful and animated, the same cannot be said for the taskbar. The sole available screenshot shows a particularly drab and grey bar. Which really isn’t all that much to look at.
