Asus has just unveiled a brand new device in India today: the ZenFone 3s Max. Much like its predecessor, the 3s Max packs a high-capacity battery and a low price tag. Of course, some of its hardware have been upgraded too.
One of the most notable upgrades the ZenFone 3x Max has is a bigger battery; in comparison to the 4,100mAh cell of the 5.2-inch ZenFone 3 Max, this new device features a bigger 5,000mAh battery. Naturally, this should translate to better battery life. Other than that, the 3s Max can also be used as power bank to charge other devices.
Rounding out the specifications of the ZenFone 3s Max are a 5.2-inch HD IPS display, a MediaTek MT6750 processor paired with 3GB of RAM, 32GB of expandable storage, 13MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, as well as a fingerprint sensor on the front of the device. Surprisingly enough, the ZenFone 3s Max also runs on ZenUI 3.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box; even Asus’ own flagship devices haven’t been updated to Nougat yet.
The Asus ZenFone 3s Max is now available for purchase in India for 14,999 Indian rupee, which comes up to about RM985. As usual, it’s not known if the 3s Max will be launched in Malaysia as well.
