HyperX Alloy Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Now in Malaysia for RM500

HyperX’s very first gaming keyboard, the Alloy FPS mechanical gaming keyboard, is now available in Malaysia. Packed with Cherry’s very popular MX Blue switches and a compact design, the Alloy is a pretty interesting mechanical keyboard.

As far as design go, the HyperX Alloy is as minimalist as it gets. There are very little unused space on this keyboard, which in turn make for a rather sleek-looking – and space-saving – mechanical keyboard. Aside from that, we also like the fact that the Alloy comes with a removable braided cable and a mesh travel pouch to store the keyboard when not in use.

Not surprisingly, HyperX went with Cherry’s very clicky and tactile MX Blue switches for the Alloy, which has a lifespan of up to 50 million keystrokes. While this isn’t as impressive as Razer’s own switches – they have a quoted lifespan of 80 million keystrokes – these MX Blue switches should still last quite a bit. Unfortunately, the Alloy only comes with red backlighting; no RGB lighting here.

According to HyperX, the Alloy mechanical gaming keyboard is now available in Malaysia for RM500, although we notice that many online retailers are listing the keyboard below its suggested retail price. Regardless, if you’re in the market for a compact full-size mechanical keyboard, the HyperX Alloy is worth a gander.
