Palit has announced its newest graphics card called the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti KalmX. One rather interesting trait about this graphics card is the fact that it comes with a passive cooler, which apparently has never been done on a custom GTX 1050 Ti before – until now. According to Palit, its GTX 1050 Ti KalmX “gives you the gaming horsepower to take on today’s most demanding titles in full 1080p HD@60 FPS.”
Being a passive-cooled graphics card means that Palit’s GTX 1050 Ti will almost certainly operate ‘silently’. This is made possible thanks to the two 6mm nickel plated heat pipes along with a copper heatsink that makes direct contact with the GPU. In addition, like most GTX 1050 Ti’s in the market, Palit’s newest graphics card only requires power from the motherboard itself.
Those aside, Palit’s GTX 1050 Ti KalmX is said to come with dimensions of 18.3cm (length) x 13.7cm (height) x 3.6cm (depth). Due to its rather small body, the graphics card weighs around 466 grams. When it comes to performance, the Palit GTX 1050 Ti KalmX boasts base and boost GPU clock speeds of 1291MHz and 1392MHz respectively, along with a memory clock speed of 1752MHz.
Unfortunately, Palit has not mentioned the price and date of availability for the GTX 1050 Ti KalmX.
