Do you still remember the GoPro Karma drone? In case you forgot what happened to it, the drone was voluntarily pulled out from the market due to power issues. Now, Karma is finally ready to meet consumers once again.
According to GoPro, the Karma that it has re-released into the market looked exactly identical to the original Karma drone that supposed to be out in the market few months ago. The only difference is that the re-released variant has a redesigned battery latch that apparently has eliminated the issue of mid-flight power loss that was found on some of the original Karma.
With that, Karma is now back on shelves at United States with the same starting price of USD 799.99 (about RM 3,542.36). International customers can expect to see the drone in their markets later this year.
Meanwhile, the company’s CEO Nick Woodman has revealed at a recent earnings conference call that the new Hero6 action camera has been scheduled for released later this year. Aside from that, an unnamed camera and several accessories are coming to the market in 2017 as well.
However, details of these new products were not revealed at the conference calls. Nevertheless, GoPro fans can now look forward for several new gears coming their way very soon.
