Samsung may not be launching its next flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8, in the upcoming Mobile World Congress event, but it doesn’t mean that the company will not be doing anything at all. Samsung recently posted a teaser for a new device that will be announced on 26 February 2017.
Sadly, the South Korean company did not provide any further details about its launch event. The teaser photo only consists of the date, along with an outline of a device that looks like a new tablet. However, rumours are suggesting that the company will likely announce the Galaxy Tab S3, which just received its FCC approval.
According to rumours, the Galaxy Tab S3, a successor to the Galaxy Tab S2 that was announced back in 2015, will come with a 9.6” 2048 x 1536 display, and will be powered by a Snapdragon 820 processor with 4GB of RAM.
Of course, this is only a rumour, so take it with a pinch of salt and wait for the event to find out what the company has in store for us. The event will be happening on 26 February at 7PM CET – that’s 2am on 27 February 2017 local time.
