Rejoice fellow arcade fighter fans, Bandai Namco has finally announced the release date of the upcoming, highly anticipated Tekken 7 game. In addition, the PC system requirements for the game was also detailed. Besides being released for the PC, Tekken 7 will, expectedly, also be compatible with both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles.
According to Bandai Namco, the minimum PC system requirements that one needs to run Tekken 7 is an Intel Core i3-4160 CPU or its equivalent. Besides that, the game also requires a minimum RAM capacity of 6GB. A GTX 660 or GTX 750 Ti graphics card is required to run the game at ‘acceptable’ framerates. One ‘stand out’ requirement of Tekken 7 is its storage space requirement: 60GB.
When it comes to recommended PC system requirements, gamers are advised to have an Intel Core i5-4690 CPU or higher. RAM requirements to run Tekken 7 ‘smoothly’ is 8GB, which is common with most graphically demanding games nowadays. Speaking of demanding, one would also need a GTX 1060 graphics card to run the game smoothly with increased graphics settings.
It’s worth noting that Tekken 7 will be utilising the DirectX 11 API together with the Unreal Engine 4 game engine. Those aside, Bandai Namco has stated that the game will be released on 2 June 2017 for PC (steam), Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
