One of its stars at CES 2017 and ZOTAC‘s latest GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card is now available in Malaysia. The new model is slightly different from previous GTX 1080 cards that the company has released in Malaysia as ZOTAC insists that this card is able to fit majority of system out there.
This is due to the fact that the new card is much more compact than other GTX 1080 which is the very reason why ZOTAC called it as the GTX 1080 Mini. Despite the size reduction, the card is still clocked higher than NVIDIA’s reference specifications since it features a base clock of 1,607 MHz and boost clock of 1,733 MHz although the memory speed remained identical at 10 Gbps.
To cool down all the heat generated by the card, ZOTAC has implemented a thermal solution that features a combination of 90mm and 100mm fans on the GTX 1080 Mini. The aluminum heatsink on the card also contains a copper block as a point of contact for the card’s GPU as well as five 6mm copper heatpipes.
Not to forget, ZOTAC has also equipped GTX 1080 Mini with a metal backplate and LED-lit logo on the top area of the card. Available immediately through ZOTAC’s retailers throughout the country, the new GTX 1080 Mini graphics cards carries a price tag of RM 2,999.
