Samsung has just launched a new curved monitor in Malaysia. Dubbed the CFG70, this curved monitor is packed with many features gamers will appreciate, such as AMD FreeSync, very fast response time, and of course, support for the Korean company’s signature Quantum Dot technology.
One of the most noteworthy aspects of the CFG70 curved gaming monitor is its very fast Moving Picture Response Time (MPRT) of only 1ms, which makes it ideal for professional gaming. Other than that, the CFG70 is also the first curved gaming monitor to come with Samsung’s Quantum Dot technology, which promises great colour accuracy and 125% sRGB colour coverage.
Rounding out the specifications of the CFG70 are a 24-inch or 27-inch 1080p VA panel, a 144Hz refresh rate, an 1800R curvature, as well as support for AMD FreeSync. In terms of connectivity, this curved monitor comes with two HDMI ports, a DisplayPort, as well as a couple of 3.5mm audio jacks. The CFG70’s unique dual-hinge design is also worth mentioning here: it lets users elevate, tilt, pivot, and swivel the monitor with relative ease.
The Samsung CFG70 curved gaming monitor is now available for pre-order on Lazada until 26 January 2017, and the first 100 customers to place their orders on the site will receive freebies worth up to RM264. The CFG70 can be purchased at selected physical stores from 27 January onwards, and it retails at RM1,699 and RM2,099 for the 24-inch and 27-inch models respectively.
