If you know Razer, then you might know that what deems crazy to many people can be pretty much normal to the well-known company. Nevertheless, the newly announced Project Valerie is still considerably bonkers even for Razer’s standard.
In a way, Project Valerie is a portable multi-monitor gaming system. Featuring three built-in 17.3-inch 4K IGZO displays which equals to 11,520 x 2,160 in terms of display resolution, it is also equipped with an automated positioning system that mechanically deploy and align the two side displays from behind the laptop’s main screen.
Not enough with that, all three displays support NVIDIA G-SYNC adaptive sync technology. In terms of graphical firepower, Project Valerie relies on an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card.
Razer has also adapted the ultra low profile mechanical keyboard from its existing Blade Pro gaming laptop for Project Valerie. Of course, it would not be a Razer product if the keyboard doesn’t come with the company’s signature Chroma RGB backlighthing.
Despite the additional screens, Razer pointed out that the laptop will only be as thick as an average 17-inch gaming laptop. While it might be based on a gaming laptop, Project Valerie could be ideal for multitaskers out there.
Meanwhile, do note that Project Valerie is still a concept. So, don’t take out your savings or put your car on sale just yet.
