A month that it was officially revealed to the world, it seems that Microsoft Lumia 650 will be making its way into retail stores in Malaysia soon. At the very least, it is ready to do so at any given time since the device has appeared on SIRIM’s database earlier this month.
Listed under its model number RM-1154, the dual-SIM LTE-enabled device were registered by Microsoft Malaysia as well as the brand’s known distributors including Avaxx, ECS Astar, and Zitron. Upon further research, it turns out that the device has been listed on Microsoft Malaysia’s official online store at Lazada Malaysia as well.
While the device is not shown on the store’s main list for Windows smartphones, a quick search using Lumia 650 as the keyword managed to reveal the listings for the new smartphone. Based on these listings, the Lumia 650 will apparently be made available in black and white for RM 899 on 11 April 2016.
These listings also stated that pre-order customers will receive RM 25 voucher for Lazada as well as 13,000 AirAsia BIG points which are good enough to exchange with a return flight to Phuket. Not enough with that, customers will also receive additional 899 AirAsia BIG points for their account.
At this moment, Lazada didn’t mention the amount of Lumia 650 that will be available to purchase through this pre-order but given the amount of AirAsia BIG points that are involved in it, the amount should be limited. To learn more about Lumia 650, head on to Microsoft’s official website.
