As you might have heard, Sony has announced that the much anticipated PlayStation VR headset for PlayStation 4 will be heading to consumers staring this October. What the company didn’t reveal during the announcement though is the mouth-watering PS VR Launch Bundle which was only revealed few days later.
The reason why I’m calling it “mouth-watering” is simply because the bundle has everything that PlayStation 4 owners need to jump into virtual reality world. Consider this: gamers need to own a PS Camera in order to use PS VR headset with their PS4.
This bundle not only include both the headset and camera but it also includes two PS Move motion controllers and the PlayStation VR Worlds game. At USD 499.99 (about RM 1999), it generally costs less than the amount that gamers need to fork out if they are getting the headset (USD 399.99), camera (USD 59.99*), Move controllers (USD 49.99* each), and the game (USD 59.99*) separately.
As you able to tell though, the PS VR Launch Bundle is only available for North American market at the moment. Since SCEAJ has yet to reveal its release plan or pricing, it is not known whether the company has a plan to release similar bundle for Malaysia but one can always hope.
