Even though the newly released Samsung Galaxy S7 edge in Malaysia comes with dual-SIM functionality, users are not able to utilize their second SIM card on the new smartphone if they want to use their microSD card instead. As the story goes, there is apparently a way for users to operate both of their second SIM card and microSD cards on the device.
While this particular hack is nothing new, it apparently works on the Malaysia set of Galaxy S7 edge according to this tutorial. In general, one of the reason that this hack actually works is due to the fact that the contacts points for each cards are located at different places within the card reader in Galaxy S7 edge.
Hence, that is why this particular hack requires the user to take the chip from the second SIM card and put it into the body of a microSD card which conveniently has enough space for the chip. Once that done and if it actually works, users should be able to see all three cards functioning without any problem.
Meanwhile, it goes without saying that we don’t recommend you to implement this hack into your Galaxy S7 edge as this is obviously not the way that the device is designed to function. All in all, there is always a possibility that this hack might damage your device and/or void its warranty. If you insist to do it, proceed at your own risk.
