Team Taring captain, Adam “343” Shah has left the team to join Fnatic as a substitute player. This only comes a few months after Team Taring was chosen as Malaysia’s Dota 2 national team.
Adam “343” Shah, now Fnatic Dota 2 substitute player said:
My decision to leave Taring didn’t come easy, but after standing in for Fnatic it hit me that I was too inexperienced to lead a team anywhere. This is the main reason for my departure, a quest for the experience which I lack.
Back in Team Taring, Adam held the role of a support player. Now that he’s joining Fnatic, which role will he fill? Chances are, he’ll be continuing his role as the support, so the whole of Fnatic might be going through a role swap.
In light of Adam’s addition to Team Fnatic, his presence has proven to be fruitful as Fnatic managed to defeat the newly-revived Team Rave 2-0 in the SEA Kappa Invitational Tournament.
That being said, it’s still too early to make any conclusions, but the team does have a very busy schedule ahead of them with the Epicenter Southeast Asian qualifiers, ESL One Manila qualifiers, as well as the WePlay Dota 2 League LAN tournament coming up – all these before the Manila Major.
