U Mobile has finally unveiled its Samsung Galaxy S7 edge bundles. The telco is offering the latest smartphone from Samsung, from as low as RM1,799 when you sign up for a contract with them.
As with most of its device bundles, U Mobile is pairing the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge with its Ultimate Device plans – Ultimate Device 65/95/135. The plans come with data, free calls and SMS catered for different users. Sadly though, U Mobile isn’t offering its Hero postpaid plan with unlimited calls and SMS. Fortunately, call charges are pretty affordable at 10sen/minute.
A 24 months contract applies for these bundles, but with U Mobile’s “contract freedom”, if you decide to terminate the contract, you will not be subjected to penalty fee. Instead, all you need to do is pay back the subsidy price for the number of months you have left. On top of that, for those who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge with a credit card and subscribe to auto debit monthly fee, you do not have to pay for device upfront payment.
As teased before, it will come with a free Samsung Gear VR Lite worth RM459 for the first 100 subscribers. Existing U Mobile subscribers will enjoy an additional 1-year device protection with U Care Plus 8 worth RM1,000.You can’t buy the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge on U Mobile’s website, so for those of you who wish to get the free Gear VR Lite, you better hurry to a U Mobile store near you.
