At the launch of its brand new Mate 8 phablet earlier today, Huawei Malaysia has also announced several new devices that it will release in our market very soon. They include two variants of Huawei Watch that were just unveiled at CES 2016 recently as well as the MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet.
Designed specifically for ladies, the Huawei Watch Elegant and Jewel still feature a 1.4-inch 400 x 400 AMOLED display, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, 300mAh battery, and Android Wear just like the original Huawei Watch. What made them different though is that they come in rose gold colorway as well as specialized styling which include Clous de Paris pattern on the Elegant model and Swarsoki Zirconia on the Jewel model.
Additionally, both Elegant and Jewel also feature 10 new watch faces that are also made for woman. Not to forget, their stainless steel body is also slightly wider and thicker (surprisingly) than a standard Huawei Watch. Pricing-wise, the Huawei Watch Elegant will be priced at RM 1,999 while the Huawei Watch Jewel goes for RM 2,299.
Meanwhile, the MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet which was also announced at CES 2016 is equipped with 10.1-inch full HD (1920 x 1200) IPS display and powered by a 2.0GHz Hisilicon Kirin 930 octa-core processor. With a thickness of 7.35mm, the 500 grams tablet also comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor on its home button and supports a specialized stylus called M-Pen which offers 2,048 pressure levels.
Other than that, the tablet also features 13-megapixels autofocus rear camera, 5-megapixels front camera, and four speakers that is tuned by Harman Kardon. Last but not least, it is also equipped with a 6,660mAh battery. The MediaPad M2 10.0 will be made available in Malaysia in four different variants that are priced from RM 1,299 to RM 1,999:
In terms of availability, expect to see all three new Huawei devices at the company’s authorized dealers throughout Malaysia in late April 2016.
