Samsung’s latest and greatest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7 edge, will be available for pre-order from the 7th to the 11th of March in Malaysia. Retailing at RM3,099, those who are quick enough will receive as much as 20% off; that’s quite a substantial saving.
It goes without saying that such a good promotion for the Galaxy S7 edge will have a few caveats. In this case, there is only one: the 20% discount is limited to the first 1,000 customers. Other than that, these customers will receive a complimentary 128GB microSD card and an additional one year extended warranty. Customers who pre-ordered the Galaxy S7 edge can also pick up the device on the 17th of March, which is one day before its official launch.
In terms of specification, the Galaxy S7 edge is very well-equipped. It has a 5.5-inch 1440p dual-curved Super AMOLED display, a 2.3GHz octa-core Exynos processor paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, up to 64GB of UFS 2.0 storage, a generous 3,600mAh battery, and an IP68-rated body. In the camera department, there’s a brand new 12MP dual-pixel rear camera with smart OIS and a 5MP front-facing shooter.
If you’re keen to place your pre-order for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, you can do so here once it is 12AM on 7 March; a RM300 deposit is required to secure your order, and you can select a Samsung store of your liking to collect your device from. In Malaysia, the Galaxy S7 edge will be available in three colours: Black Onyx, Silver Titanium and Gold Platinum.
