Unlike last year, HTC’s announcement at this year’s Mobile World Congress did not see the unveiling of any new flagship smartphone. Perhaps to make up for this, the company has teased a mysterious device on its Twitter page, which is likely to be the One M10.
The teaser image is very vague, with just the silhouette of an unknown device highlighted. In fact, it looks a lot like chamfered metal edges, which suggests some form of metal construction with the device pictured. Accompanying the image is the hashtag “power of 10,” which may just be a reference to the One M10.
If we compare the bezel of the leaked images of the One M10 above to the teaser, it’s not exactly identical, although it may simply be a discrepancy between the render and the actual product. Regardless, the One M10 is said to be packing a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 5.2-inch AMOLED display, and the same rear camera found on the Nexus 6P.
HTC’s next flagship device is said to be launching on the 11th of April 2016 in London. Seeing how the company has started teasing the device, this launch date might just be accurate.
