While there are so many leaked images of it around the Internet, Samsung is still keeping plenty of details regarding its upcoming Galaxy S7 smartphone under a blanket of secrecy. That being said, a set of promo materials that are hosted by Samsung Indonesia have been discovered which might be related to Galaxy S7 capabilities.
These promo materials come in the form of a website and unlisted YouTube video. Within the website, Samsung Indonesia has listed a number of sentences and images that might be pointing to features within Galaxy S7. We have no idea what they exactly mean but we believe that these teasers are most likely pointing at privacy, design, water resistance, and low light photography respectively:
As for the YouTube video, it is apparently produced to showcase several features from a Galaxy smartphone such as wireless charging, S Health (while being linked to Gear S2), and water resistance. While it is hard to pinpoint if the device in the video is actually a Galaxy S7 since some of us in the office believe that it might be a Galaxy S6 instead, there is a mention of Galaxy S7 within the site’s source code:
At the time this article is published, both the video and website are still accessible. They might not mean much to some as opposed to what we already seen or heard about the new phone but this at least strengthen the fact that the Galaxy S7 is a real deal. With that, there shouldn’t be any doubt that we’ll be seeing the new flagship smartphone at the upcoming Unpacked 2016 event next week.
