Running out of space on Google drive? Need more storage for your files and documents? Well, Google has got you covered as the company is giving 2GB of Google Drive storage space for free. Google’s offering is done in conjunction with the world’s ‘Safer Internet Day’ (SID), which is pretty similar to what it did last year. The organisations aims to promote young individuals to use the internet safely and responsibly.
All you need to do is go through a simple security check on your Google account. Click here to login and you will then be redirected to your security settings page. This is where you check that your recovery phone number, email, and security question is valid. Not only that, you can also go through your connected devices, apps that have access to your account, as well as review account permissions.
While doing the security checkup, this would also be a good opportunity for users to activate two-step verification on their Google account – if they haven’t already done so. Take note that this offer is a limited time thing, and probably won’t last much longer. So don’t waste any time and double check those security settings.
