The ever so disappointing Batman: Arkham Knight is apparently not coming to Linux and OS X. The announcement came to light when one of the game’s developer that goes by the pseudonym “wb.elder.pliny” posted a thread in the Steam Community forums declaring the aforementioned statement.
Ever since its inception back in June 2015, Batman: Arkham Knight was plagued with optimisation issues and game breaking bugs, which made the game unplayable on PC. A huge wave of negative comments from PC gamers and critics led to Warner Bros pulling the game out of Steam merely a few weeks after its initial launch. The game was then re-released in October with barely anything fixed.
Batman: Arkham Knight is still receiving several patches, which is somehow making the game run better, for several gamers at least. Warner Bros decision to not bring Batman: Arkham Knight to Linux and OS X is not surprising, since the company had already shown how little it cares for the PC community with the announcement that the PC version of Mortal Kombat X will not be getting any additional content in the future.
