Taking the market by storm since its debut in 2011, the Casio Exilim TR series is certainly one of the most well-known selfie-oriented point and shoot camera in the market. This coming February, a new model from the series will be making its way to Malaysia in the form of EX-TR70.
First announced to the world last December, the new EX-TR70 features a revised physical design around its lens while still retaining the series signature foldable hinge that allows the camera to be operated using just one hand. Built with an 11.1-megapixels sensor and 5-elements f/2.8 lens, Casio apparently has also worked on the camera’s Make-Up mode by enhancing its Skin Brightening function and making the mode available for videos.
At the same time, Casio has also added the new Instant Movie function into TR70 that allows users to record and link several clips together into a single movie. Other than that, the camera also features the L/R Flip Shot function and a 3-inch TFT LCD display is apparently 1.5-times brighter than its predecessor.
Not to forget, the TR70 also now supports auto-transfer to smartphone via Exilim Connect app. As for battery life, the camera’s NP-150 battery apparently able to deliver up to 220 shots or 50 minutes of video recording in full HD resolution.
Priced at RM 4,199, selfie lovers are able to reserve a unit through this website which will allow them to choose the collection point for their TR70 once it is made available in Malaysia. Each pre-order customers will also receive free canvas print from Photobook Malaysia although this is limited to the first 100 customers.
For those who prefer to take a look at the TR70 in-person before committing to it, do keep a look for the camera at Casio Exilim Authorized Dealers throughout the country next month.
