A YouTuber who goes by the name of N11ck is doing something that has never been attempted before. He and his team is trying to create a 1:1 scale replica of GTA V inside Minecraft. Naturally, the project was titled “GTA 5 In Minecraft” and it started back in January 2015.
N11ck and his friends have been working on the project for over a year now, constantly uploading videos of his progress on YouTube. The map is nowhere near complete, but the team reckons that the map will approximately have 7,500 x 7,500 blocks at the end.

One has to admire the team’s dedication for staying on with this project for so long. That being said, some have criticised N11ck and his team’s effort to be a waste of time. However, one could argue that if he really is enjoying the game, it wouldn’t count as a waste of time.
It’s amazing how far Minecraft has come, from being on multiple platforms to the announcement of Minecraft: Education Edition. Fans of the game have also been creating their own Minecraft mods from a Pokeball to the entire map of Disneyland, and even the Starship Enterprise from Star Trek. Needless to say, Minecraft is a game that has endless possibilities that can act as a medium for various industries.
