The Razer Nabu Watch and Nabu Watch Forged Edition is now available for purchase in Malaysia through Razer’s online store. The Razer Nabu Watch is retailing for RM749, which is about RM85 more than the US pricing. Besides that, the Nabu Watch Forged Edition is priced at RM999, which is, unfortunately, roughly RM114 more than how much it is in the US.
The Razer Nabu Watch and the premium Forged Edition were initially announced at CES 2016. Razer’s new smartwatches feature activity, fitness and sleep tracking, like the Nabu and Nabu X. In addition to that, Razer mentioned that the Nabu Watches have a battery life of seven days to power the smart module display on the smartwatch, along with a separate battery that powers the digital chronograph for up to 12 months.
Interestingly, both the Razer Nabu Watch and Nabu Watch Forged edition don’t necessarily need a Bluetooth connection to function. A smartphone connection is only required to push notifications to the “private screen” on both the standard and premium editions of the Nabu watch.
Design-wise, the smartwatch has a matte black finish and the display is illuminated with the trademark green colour of Razer. It’s worth noting that the Nabu Watch Forged Edition is manufactured using stainless steel while the standard Nabu Watch is made using polycarbonate materials. At first glance, Razer’s new smartwatch almost resembles Casio’s G-Shock watches.
