After making its global debut in Vietnam recently, OPPO has decided to bring its latest smartphone – the OPPO F1 – to Malaysia later this week. The new smartphone is the first device from the company’s new photography-oriented F Series which is apparently designed to deliver premium mobile photography experiences.
Essentially, the OPPO F1 is a mid-range smartphone that is equipped with a 5-inch HD IPS display and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor that is further supplemented by 3GB of RAM. It is also built with 16GB worth of internal storage that can be expanded further through microSD with capacity of up to 128GB.
As OPPO F1 is apparently made for selfie lovers, it comes with f/2.0 8-megapixels front camera while there is also a f/2.2 13-megapixels camera on its rear. Not to forget, the smartphone also comes with a 2,500 mAh battery.
Even though the launch date has been set as 21 January, the pricing for OPPO F1 is still a secret at the moment. That being said though, we were informed that the device will be released through OPPO Malaysia’s online store later this week before making its way to retail stores next week.
