Alongside the new ZenFone Zoom, ASUS Malaysia today has also showcased a number of new products that will be heading to our market very soon including the ZenWatch 2. If you’ve been waiting for it, we have a great news for you: the new smartwatch is expected to be available in Malaysia by the end of this month – just before the arrival of Chinese New Year.
For those who are not familiar with the device, ZenWatch 2 comes pre-installed with Android Wear and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor. The IP67-certified smartwatch is also equipped with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage together with a 300mAh battery that allows it to last up to two and half days of usages.
Despite the fact that it is available with screen size of either 1.63-inch and 1.45-inch, it is surprising to see that both variants will be priced identical to each other. According to the info that we obtained from ASUS Malaysia, these are the prices for ASUS ZenWatch 2 in our market:
RM 649: with rubber strap.
RM 699: with leather strap.
RM 899: with metal strap
Even though we’ve obtained this info from official source, there is always a possibility that the final pricing might be different from what we’ve mentioned above. So, it is still best to manage your expectation until the ZenWatch 2 is officially available for purchase in Malaysia later this month.
For the time being, don’t forget to check out our initial experience with ASUS ZenWatch 2 right here.
