Just a couple of months after the Lenovo Vibe X3 has been officially announced, the Chinese company has listed the device for pre-order in Malaysia. Retailing at RM1,899, pre-orders of this very capable device come with several goodies as well, such as a generous 64GB microSD card.
In comparison to its predecessor, the Lenovo Vibe X3 is almost like an entirely different device from another lineup. For one, it is powered by the very capable Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM, a marked departure from the MediaTek processor used in the Lenovo Vibe X2. Other than that, the Vibe X3 also sports a different design language from the X2, forgoing the “layered design” for something more conventional.
Rounding out the specifications of the Vibe X3 are a 5.5-inch 1080p display, 32GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot, LTE connectivity, 21MP rear and 8MP front-facing cameras, as well as a sizeable 3,600mAh battery. The X3 also has a rear fingerprint sensor and front-facing stereo speakers; considering this smartphone goes for RM1,899 in Malaysia, these hardware are quite impressive.
According to Lenovo’s listing on Lazada, the Vibe X3 will be shipping on the 20th of January 2016. While it wasn’t mentioned how long the promotional price of RM1,899 will last, interested costumers should be quick to secure their orders. Those who placed a pre-order will receive a 64GB microSD card, a “nut tracker,” a casing, and a screen protector for the Vibe X3.
