While the LG Gram 15 was first unveiled to the world last month, it wasn’t until now at CES 2016 that its specifications have been fully revealed. Weighing a mere 980g, it is easily one of the lightest 15-inch laptops in the market.
Despite being so lightweight and measuring only 16mm thick, the Gram 15 is still powered by a sixth generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processor; no Core M processor here. On top of that, it has a 15.6-inch 1920 x 1080 IPS display and a slew of ports, which include USB Type-C, USB 3.0, HDMI, and even a microSD card slot.
Rounding out the specifications of the LG Gram 15 are 8GB of RAM, 256GB or 512GB of SSD storage, a magnesium body, and a claimed battery life of up to seven hours. Needless to say, these are great hardware for such a lightweight and thin laptop, and the fact that it is not powered by a Core M processor should make it ideal for many potential consumers.
Unfortunately, the retail price and availability of the LG Gram 15 have not been revealed yet, and there’s a good chance it will not be sold in Malaysia. After all, it has been some time since an LG laptop officially landed on our shores.
