NVIDIA will be organizing a gathering for gamers called GeForce eSports Party in Kuala Lumpur, according to an announcement made earlier this week. Scheduled to take place on 6 January 2017, the event will be screening live matches from ESL One Genting which comes as no surprise since NVIDIA is one of the event’s partner.
Aside from that, there will also be a workshop that focuses on the art of eSports commentary or fondly known by enthusiasts as shoutcasting. It will be handled by two experienced shoutcasters that are well-known within the Dota 2 circle, Xyclopz who hails from Thailand as well as Lysander from Singapore.
Additionally, ZOTAC will be showcasing its brand new VR GO backpack which we managed to check out at its launch in Hong Kong few months ago. Powered by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, gamers will be able to actually test the wearable gaming PC themselves at the event.
