After doubling its data quota for its MaxisONE plans last month, Maxis has now upgraded its 4G Home Broadband quota as well.
The Maxis 4G Home Broadband plan had previously come with 20GB of data (15GB Internet + 5GB 4G LTE data). That quota has now been increased to a total of 40GB of data (20GB Internet + 20GB 4G LTE data). Take note that the base 20GB quota can be used any time of the day, while the additional 20GB of 4G LTE is only used in areas that have 4G LTE coverage.
The monthly fee for the Maxis 4G Home Broadband plan is RM198/month, but MaxisONE plan customers get a special fee of RM128/month. Also, existing customers will be upgraded free of charge on their next bill cycle.
The plan comes with a free 4G LTE modem, and voice calls will be charged at 10sen/min to all networks. No upfront payment or activation fee is required, and top-up quota can be purchased for 3GB for RM25.
Customers who are already on a MaxisONE plan can subscribe to the Maxis 4G Home Broadband plan. However, a 24 month contract will be imposed.
This is a limited-time offer and Maxis hasn’t mentioned the promotion will end. Those of you who wish to learn more about the Maxis 4G Home Broadband, can head on to the official website here.
