Even we are still two weeks away from Consumer Electronics Show 2017, a number of companies already begin to unveil products that they are planning to launch at the event. For example, LG has confirmed that its CES 2017 line-up will include five new mid-range smartphones.
Out of these devices, four of them come from LG’s K Series family of smartphones. The highest-end model is called K10 which is equipped with 5.3-inch HD (1280 x 720) display and powered by a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor.
It also features with 2GB LPDDR3 RAM and up to 32GB eMMC-based internal storage with support for microSD card. Pre-installed with Android 7.0, K10 also comes with 13-megapixels rear camera and 5-megapixels front camera in addition to a fingerprint scanner and removable 2,800mAh battery.
Aside from K10, there are also K8, K4, and K3. This is how they differ from each other in terms of specifications:
Meanwhile, LG will also launch Stylus 3 at CES 2017. As you might able to guess by its name, the new smartphone supports stylus input and its stylus features a 1.8mm fiber-tip that apparently able to provide the feel and feedback that similar to a real pen.
Powered by the same MediaTek MT6750 processor as per K10, this smartphone is also equipped with 5.7-inch display, 3GB RAM, 16GB eMMC internal storage, and microSD support. It also comes with 13-megapixels rear camera, 8-megapixels front camera, and 3,200mAh removable battery.
Given that these new LG smartphones will only be launched at CES 2017, their availability and pricing are not yet known at the moment. Based on LG Mobile’s lack of presence in Malaysia though, we don’t expect them to be released in our market as well but who knows…maybe LG Mobile will turn over a new leaf in 2017 and starts to pay attention to Malaysia once again.
